Whether you are joining Quinnipiac Law straight from an undergraduate program or after some time in the workforce, we understand that the transition can feel intimidating and overwhelming at times. The Day One Mentoring program is designed to help simplify the process and reduce any feelings of uneasiness or uncertainty so that you arrive for your first year confident that you're in the right place.
During the summer before your first year at Quinnipiac Law, admitted students will have the opportunity to connect with current students and faculty members. This strong network of resources will offer guidance on everything related to first-year student life, including effective study habits, reminders about how to get around on campus and recommendations for where to eat or visit in the greater New Haven area.
The faculty member remains a trusted resource and mentor throughout the entire law school experience, along with the growing network of supportive connections that surround our students. After you've made the transition, you can lean on these resources for guidance about joining student groups and organizations, partaking in clinic and externship opportunities and preparing to sit for the Bar exam.
