Law Merit Scholarship

Scholarship

Students whose admissions qualifications demonstrate a potential for superior academic performance in law school will receive scholarship notification with their acceptance letter from the Office of Admissions.

Dean’s Fellows Scholarship

Full Law Tuition | Quinnipiac University

Scholarship

The Dean’s Fellows awards are full-tuition scholarships available to full-time applicants who possess a record of extraordinary scholarly achievement and leadership, have a demonstrated commitment to community through volunteerism, public service or civic activities, and show strong potential to be leaders during and after law school.

Distinguished Scholar Awards

$5,000 to $50,000 per year | Quinnipiac University

Scholarship

Distinguished Scholar Awards range from $5,000 to $50,000 per year and are awarded on the merits of the applicant's entire admissions application with emphasis on undergraduate academic record, personal statement, LSAT score and potential to contribute to diversity on campus. We evaluate diversity of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives that bring unique ideas, insight and knowledge.

Certain individuals and law firms have established and funded scholarships to be presented for excellence in specific fields of law and/or outstanding academic achievement or need.

Scholarship Retention

As defined by American Bar Association (ABA), a conditional scholarship is any financial aid award that requires students to maintain a minimum grade point average or class standing beyond what is typically necessary to stay in good academic standing. We are pleased to announce that, beginning with the incoming class of Fall 2025, all scholarships will be renewable as long as students remain in good academic standing.

Outside Scholarships

The Office of Financial Aid receives notification of various scholarships that are awarded by organizations other than the School of Law. These organizations have their own application and selection criteria for awarding private funds. Scholarships vary in amount and criteria and students are responsible for all application, renewal and disbursement paperwork. Current students should read the docket for more information.
