Distinguished Scholar Awards

Scholarship | $5,000 to $50,000 per year | Quinnipiac University

Distinguished Scholar Awards are awarded on the merits of the applicant's entire admissions application with emphasis on undergraduate academic record, personal statement, LSAT score and potential to contribute to diversity on campus. We evaluate diversity of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives that bring unique ideas, insight and knowledge.

Overview

Distinguished Scholar Awards range from $5,000 to $50,000 per year. Factors to be considered in awarding this scholarship include but are not limited to geographic, cultural, linguistic, or economic background; gender identity or expression; lived experience with legal systems; religion; sexual orientation; life and/or work experience; or having overcome economic, educational, physical, or social adversity.

Scholarships are renewable each year if the recipient is in good academic standing. The Scholarship Committee requires that you address in your application (whether in the personal statement or optional essay) how you would contribute to campus diversity.

How to Apply

Quinnipiac Law accepts applications up until August 1. We encourage applicants to apply by early March for priority consideration.
