The Christopher Bannerman '98 Memorial Endowed Scholarship
This award was established by the family and friends of Christopher Bannerman '98, who died tragically in a car accident. It is awarded to a law student who is enrolled in the evening program, is in the top one-third of their class, with strong preference to a student who works in law enforcement, and has financial need.
Judge Edgar Bassick III Endowed Scholarship
The Judge Edgar Bassick III Scholarship is awarded to a second or third year law student demonstrating outstanding academic ability with a concentration of study in the area of children and family law. The student must have enrolled or committed to enroll in a clinical or externship experience focusing on family law and representation of children.
Terence H. Benbow Endowed Scholarship
The Terence H. Benbow Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Dean Benbow. The scholarship is awarded to a law student demonstrating financial need and is in the top 50 percent of their class.
The CATIC Foundation Endowed Scholarship
The CATIC Foundation Endowed Scholarship is awarded to law students who are to enter their final year and who have demonstrated interest and outstanding scholarship in the field of real property law.
Edward Cerasia II Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Edward Cerasia II Scholarship is awarded to a second- or third-year law student with financial need and a law school record of outstanding academic achievement. Preference may be given to students with a particular interest in the field of employment and/or labor law.
The James R. DeFonce '80 Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The James R. DeFonce Scholarship is awarded to a third-year law student who has demonstrated outstanding advocacy on behalf of the disabled through a paper or other project deemed appropriate.
The John '59 and Barbara Meuser Family Endowed Scholarship
The John '59 and Barbara Meuser Family Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a law student with financial need.
The Samuel A. Gilliland Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Samuel A. Gilliland Scholarship was established to honor his memory with the hope that awards from this scholarship fund will help perpetuate Mr. Gilliland's accomplishments as an attorney through achievements of law students. The awards will be made to law students who have successfully completed their first year of law school.
The Fannie and Samuel Glickstein Memorial Scholarship
The Fannie and Samuel Glickstein Memorial Scholarship Fund awards tuition scholarships to law students. First and second year full-time students and first-, second- and third-year part-time students are eligible.
The John L. Hanny '93 Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The John L. Hanny Memorial Scholarship Award is awarded to a second- or third-year law student with consistently good scholastic achievement as demonstrated by an average of 3.0 or better, demonstrated interest in a field outside the legal profession and financial need.
The Linda Ilkowitz Memorial Scholarship
The Linda Ilkowitz Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a law student demonstrating outstanding academic ability and is enrolled in the evening division.
IOLTA Scholarships
IOLTA Scholarships (Interest on Lawyer's Trust Accounts Program) are based on merit and financial need and are awarded to continuing students in accordance with the Connecticut Bar Foundation's Guidelines for Law School Scholarships. The selection criteria, number of recipients, and the award amounts vary from year to year based upon the allocation of funds. Students will be notified of their eligibility in the fall semester. The IOLTA program was established by the Legislature in 1984 to assist in the delivery of legal services to the poor. The Connecticut Bar Foundation was charged with the responsibility of receiving and distributing the interest generated from the lawyers' trust accounts. In 1989, IOLTA became a mandatory program and was amended to include scholarships for needy students attending law schools in Connecticut.
The Marci Karbane '94 Memorial Endowed Award of Courage
The Marci Karbane Award of Courage Scholarship was created by the family, friends, classmates, and colleagues of Marci Karbane. It is awarded to a returning law student who has demonstrated persistence, courage, and strength in overcoming obstacles in the face of adversity.
The Geoffrey Karume Schweitzer Scholarship
The Geoffrey Karume Schweitzer Scholarship was established to honor his memory. It is awarded annually and preference will be given to a law student with a connection to law enforcement or the military and who demonstrates the strength of character that distinguished Karume.
The David S. King Memorial Scholarship
The David S. King Memorial Scholarship was established to honor his memory. This scholarship will be awarded to a second or third year law student with financial need.
The Sandra and Martin Lax Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Sandra and Martin Lax Scholarship is awarded to a second or third year law student demonstrating outstanding academic ability with a focus on or interest in working to protect the interests of children in family law matters such as custody, visitation, and child support.
The R. LoRicco Family Endowed Scholarship
The R. LoRicco Family Scholarship was established by Richard A. LoRicco, Sr. Esq., in appreciation of the excellent legal education his sons, Richard A. LoRicco, Jr. Esq. '86 and Ronald J. LoRicco, Esq. '89, received at the Quinnipiac University School of Law. The scholarship is made to a law student in good academic standing with financial need.
The Caitlin Lyons McEnery Memorial Scholarship
The Caitlin Lyons McEnery Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to a law student who has demonstrated need with preference given to a student with a nursing background.
The Oaklawn Foundation Scholarship
The Oaklawn Foundation Scholarship is presented to a law student with good scholastic achievement and demonstrated financial need.
Brian D. Osar Memorial Scholarship
The Brian D. Osar Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to a second or third year law student with a strong commitment to the law school community, good academic achievement and demonstrated financial need.
Lynne Pantalena Endowed Scholarship
The Lynne Pantalena Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a female student entering law school following a minimum of at least two years after completing her undergraduate education.
Pollina Family Endowed Scholarship
The Pollina Family Scholarship was established by Robert B. Pollina, in memory of his father and mother, Charles and Frances Pollina, his sister Ann, and his brother Michael. His son, Steven M. Pollina, Esq. '93, is a graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law. It is awarded to a second or third year student with consistently good academic achievement and a strong interest in family law, particularly protecting children's rights and issues of child abuse.
The Anna Provorny Endowed Scholarship
The Anna Provorny Scholarship is awarded to a third year law student with a G.P.A. of 2.8 or better, who is enrolled in the Civil Clinic or has been involved in significant community service.
The Professor David S. Rosettenstein Scholarship
The Professor David S. Rosettenstein Scholarship was established by his widow, Abbie K. Baker and also family, friends, and colleagues to honor his life of service to students, colleagues and the profession. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a law student with financial need and a demonstrated interest in family and/or animal rights law. Preference will be given to individuals with an active commitment to people or animals in need.

School of Law Dean Brad Saxton 2L Scholarship
The Dean Brad Saxton 2L scholarship was established by the friends and colleagues of Dean Saxton as a tribute to his service to the school and the greater legal community. The scholarship will be awarded to a law student in good academic standing. Preference will be given to students who did not receive a scholarship in their first year.
The Morris and Molly Shaiman Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Morris and Molly Shaiman Memorial Scholarship was established by the family, friends, and business associates of alumnus Milton Shaiman, Esq. '81, in honor and in memory of his parents, Morris and Molly Shaiman. It is awarded to law students with good scholastic achievement and demonstrated financial need.
The Silver, Golub and Teitell Endowed Scholarship
The Silver, Golub and Teitell Scholarship was established by the New Canaan Law Firm of Silverberg, Marvin, and Swaim, P.C., in honor of Richard Silver, David Golub, and Jay Sandak, in appreciation of their law firm's involvement with Quinnipiac University School of Law. The scholarship is awarded to a first-year law student who demonstrates the intellectual promise and qualities that would be a credit to the legal profession. Preference is given to students interested in family law.
The Myron B. Sokolowski Endowed Scholarship
The Myron B. Sokolowski Scholarship was established by Deanna B. Sokolowski in his memory. This scholarship is awarded to a full or part-time law student who possesses a scientific background, with preference given to a student with an advanced degree in science and has demonstrated financial need.
The Spears Family Endowed Scholarship
The Spears Family Endowed Scholarship was established by Brian Spears '92 and his father, William. This scholarship is awarded annually to a law student with financial need.
The Mary Moers Wenig Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Mary Moers Wenig Endowed Scholarship Fund is awarded to a second or third year law student dedicated to the advancement of one or more of the following fields: women and the law; family law and marital property; elder law; trusts and estates and estate planning; or probate law. The recipient's interest and/or accomplishment(s) in one or more of these subject areas may be demonstrated by relevant work experience; noteworthy performance in related class work, clinics or externships; and/or legal scholarship or legislative activity.

The Wiggin and Dana Endowed Scholarship Fund is awarded to first year law students with financial need and a record of outstanding professional or academic achievement.
